"Jonathan" by Lee Bartley   The music on Patti’s website is called "Jonathan" and was composed by Lee Bartley, a fellow music student and friend of Patti’s while attending Northwestern University’s School of Music. Patti chose this music because it reminds her of sailing on Lake Geneva with the wind in your face and not a care in the world.  It is performed by Images, a quartet from Denver, Colorado.  (Lee Bartley-piano, Joe Anderies-flute & saxophone, David Small-percussion and Rich Sallee-bass)  If you would like more information regarding Lee’s music and CD’s, go to www.leebartley.com .  Recently released is his wonderful collection of piano solos "Adrift in Time", written and performed by Lee Bartley.

Guess Who Was At Yerkes Observatory?
Here is a photo from 1921 when Albert Einstein paid a visit to Yerkes Observatory. The observatory houses a total of 9 telescopes; one of them being a 40-inch refractor lens making this the largest refractor telescope in the world! Not only are the telescopes worth seeing, but all of the architectural detail throughout the building will take you back to the 19th century Greco-Roman Revival. (Also of note is that Edwin Hubble...as in the Hubble telescope...graduated from the University of Chicago Yerkes Observatory in 1917.) Tours are available every Saturday at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM and Noon. You may contact Yerkes Observatory at 262-245-5555.
